The Fresh Fish Live Bait Co in Destin runs
several boats in the summer that can supply
you with fresh local live bait. No need to
waste valuable fishing time searching for
live bait. Normally, a bait boat is anchored
up at the Destin Harbor inlet, approximately
1 mile east of the East Pass Jetties, about
a half mile off shore.

They may have others inside the pass also.
Contact them on VHF Ch 80 for their locations
for the day. Normally, $20.00 will get you
20-30 live cigar minnows.

Ask for their location, tell them how much
you want, and ask what side they want you
to come up on.
Come alongside and he will hand you a
bait net full of your bait.
Dump the bait in your live well, hand
him back the empty net with your
money in it and you are ready to go.
That simple!!
